expect, demand actually, that farmers treat the earth and people who help grow and harvest our

Tom is the one who started Bluefin Coffee venture as noted above when visiting a Guatemala
coffee grower. Nobody tells it better than Tom so here's the full story in his own words of how
Bluefin got it's start:
Antigua Guatemala, March 6, 2006 We took the red eye to Guatemala City and I was tired so I
ordered a double espresso to pick me up. I was half expecting to get a touch indigestion on an
empty stomach, but to my surprise I had none of that and the coffee was delicious. We drank coffee
again at lunch and the same thing, great tasting coffee. I started asking the locals about it and was
told, that it all had to do with the volcanic soil and high altitude the coffee grew in. Proof is in the cup,
I was hooked. I brought back about 20 lbs. of coffee for friends and family. They all loved it too. I
was back in Guatemala early April 07 on business and found my way to one of the coffee fincas to
learn more about this wonderful coffee they grow. We bought about 500 lbs. of the green coffee
beans and had them roasted here in California. Everyone who has tried this coffee loves it.
